Volunteering

"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care".

    - Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States.

When we genuinely volunteer in our community, it has more than one genuinely positive effect.

Knowing we have helped other people and made a difference in their lives, in turn can make us feel good.

At the core of all this is that you are volunteering, not for personal gain, rather that you want to give some time and energy back to your local community.

A bonus is that It can also help you meet new people in your community and in so doing it increases your network.

It may also give you the opportunity to demonstrate and share your skills, which in turn increases your credibility.

Other opportunities may arise through this additional network for you or your business to give back to the community.
